Assignment 7

 

Usually, video game communities are simply a tool for chatting and discussion. In Diablo 3, it is much more. 








The Diablo 3 video game community adds to the game experience through clans.  Clans allow players to join their accounts into one common group which provides various social features including easy messaging within the clan, open game display and easy joining, legendary item find and achievement completion notifications. They are handy and many players enjoy being in a clan,







There are many clans. Some have 5 members and it goes all the way to thousands upon thousands of members. They also extend across all video game platforms. It is easier to become an elite member of a smaller clan than a larger clan. For those who prefer a gaming experience with a few close friends, a clan like "Gaming Legacy" is for them. For those who prefer a gaming experience that is holistic with lots of members, a clan like "Gunslingers" is for them.



The video game community in Diablo 3 is incredible. In many other gaming communities, they are outsourced to other sites and pages to chat. In Diablo 3,  everything happens through the Diablo 3 website and platform. It was an intriguing experience scrolling through the forums and clans!
