Assignment 5

     All that playing Diablo 3 a second time does is repeating the story line. The game does not care about how meaningful your actions are or how rich in materials you can get. Its simply a story campaign where you can embark on a journey. 

A second time playing the game would mean picking another character from one of seven classes. Most of the characters do what is advertised. Barbarians dive into materials, Wizards destroy monster from far away, and Witch Doctors conquer resources. 

As the game progresses, the character gains experience and learns new skills, which come in various permutations for you to mix and match in fun ways. A fun combo is to send a pile of corpses into a horde of monsters with one button, and then blow them all up with another, which will leave more corpses on the ground that can be blown up again until there are no more monsters to slay.

Looting from the monsters is another component that will be important the second time around.  Items to loot include swords, capes, shoes, pants, and other items to obtain.

Diablo III is simply a story campaign. It is not that much fun at first but than it gets addicting. The reason the game can get addicting is not because there is so much to it. It's addicting because there is nothing to it. That nothingness makes it fun. That probably does not make sense to those who have not played the game, but it is definitely worth a try - just not twice.
